CSAE Declaration
CSAE Declaration – Policy for the Protection of Children and Minors
Communa has a very strict and zero-tolerance policy in place to protect children & minors from all forms of CSAE (child sexual abuse and exploitation). We define "child/minor" as <18 years per UNCRC standards. We comply with all applicable laws including Singapore's Children and Young Persons Act and EU Digital Services Act Article 24.
We don't allow any content in any form or shape, that sexualizes or endangers children, fictional or real (for example photos, images, media, text, illustrations, anime, etc.). This includes any visual depictions, sharing 3rd party links, or discussions of sexually explicit conduct involving a minor. It's forbidden to upload, store, produce, share, or entice anyone to share child sexual abuse material (CSAM), even if the intent is to express outrage or raise awareness about the cause.
To be safe, our guidelines and policies therefore also concern "unintentional" child content. This means that we do not allow any content of children on our platform, even if the intention is non-sexual. The only exception we tolerate is talking about expectations for future/ potential family-planning and/or talking about existing children in the context of relationship building. However, even these conversations about children must remain appropriate, relevant, and lawful.
If you upload a photo that includes your own child, the child must be completely covered (not just their face) with an emoji or non-removable digital overlay. This still allows you to show the context of a situation without endangering your child.
Communa permits the use of its platform by schools, academies, and other educational institutions strictly for educational purposes and only under the direct supervision of qualified adults or teachers. All activities must comply with our CSAE policy and be conducted in a lawful, appropriate, and safe manner.
In reference to our ‘Disclaimer’ policy, we want to emphasize that you must be at least 18 years old to use Communa. If we find any indication that you provided false information about your age, we will immediately block and delete your account.
We hope that you understand this strict policy. Any violation of this policy will result in the immediate blocking (and consecutive deletion) of your account and a report to the respective authorities.
